Private Coaching

Private Coaching is a one-on-one opportunity to address your individual acting needs.  Available to actors of all ages and experience.  This could entail (but is not limited to):

-Preparing for a TV, film or commercial audition.

-Self-tape assistance as a reader as well as receiving direction that you would typically receive in a live audition.

-Help with all of the technical elements associated with the current acting industry including editing, lighting, camera settings, backdrops and more.

-Career coaching (representation, business management, publicity) is an important part of our industry.  Develop a plan to level up and make sure your professional team is in place.

-Private sessions are only available over Zoom.  Click the BOOK SPENCER button above to schedule your session today!

The On-Camera Audition Technique workshop

The On-Camera Audition Technique workshop is a three hour workshop for 10-12 students.  Participants select or are assigned copy (TV, Film or Commercial scripts) several days prior to the workshop.

At the beginning of the workshop students are immersed into the audition experience being recorded on-camera as though they were in a real audition.  Then we do a review of all the auditions with opportunities to learn from what everyone has done.

After reviewing, we repeat the audition with the same material to have the opportunity to apply what was learned from the reviewing process.  We finish the workshop with a final review of their work.  Students are provided all of their footage from the class a day or two after the workshop.

This is typically divided into two separate workshops, one in the morning and another in the afternoon to accommodate 20-24 students.

In addition to the scripts, lighting, camera and microphone are provided by Spencer.

The Actor's Career lecture

The Actor’s Career presentation is typically either 60 to 120 minutes long and is three parts:

1. Sharing my background and journey as an industry professional

2. Diving into the essential information for beginning or continuing a career as an actor.

Some topics include:

– “The Multitudes of Performance Opportunities”

– “The Importance of Being You versus a Character”

– “Flexible versus Inflexible Employment”

– “How to be Our Own Entertainment Team”

– “How to Find Representation”

– “How to Find the Right Support for You”

– And many other topics

3. A question and answer with all in attendance.

An additional option is setting aside “Office Hours” with student to provide them with individual guidance for their own specific needs. Meeting with more than one person is also allowed.
